This website, Spirituality and Christianity, is a conversation-welcomer. The core of the conversation centers around members of the Religion Communicators Council (RCC) and others who love to explore ideas about all types of spiritual topics.
Shirley Paulson searches for and invites thoughtful people of all faiths to engage in conversation. She is a Christian Science practitioner, so her own frame of reference is Christian. Therefore, the majority of the conversations are Christian-oriented, but the overall conversation welcomes anyone. Whereas some conversations do emphasize an interfaith type of dialogue, others focus more directly on spiritual issues without clear denominational identification.
Our goal is to have fun listening and sharing our best in conversation with others of different faith backgrounds. These great conversations lead us into surprising new directions. What one faith group may practice with great thought and care may not have caught the attention of others. Sometimes we discover some impenetrable differences in our beliefs; but our compassion for one another gives us perspective on the larger picture of the family of humanity.
